| I thought it was funny how Jotaro said he was happy to meet Koichi but not Josuke. Touching, but odd that out of everyone he got to meet him. Maybe it was a subtitle thing, but he does entrust him with his "mission" for part 5 |

| Right after beginning to think about how Kira may be written to feel pathetic, he gave the boner line. He also mentioned his single-minded desire to not face Jotaro.. My man has been killing the weak, losing to the strong, and running away the entire manga, hasn't he? Even in his introduction as he licked a dismembered hand, that wasn't cool, it was weird. Where I do have sympathy for him if my theory about why he behaves the way he does rings true, I somehow think I didn't fully see how truly pathetic he feels as a person. As I said in the last chapter, the potential criticism about him not feeling that menacing in the face of the squad, it could be a huge strength. This recent advancement in the story of him rewinding time is something that I was really hoping for. I got the spoiler that he can rewind time, and I had this image in my head of him losing at the end and just going back and getting away with everything. It was enough to make me froth at the mouth. I somehow suspect that he won't be getting away with it all, lol, but it's still very fascinating and I am incredibly excited to see what happens. I also wanted to mention, if my idea that Kira wants to be validated and seen for his true self which he can never reveal unless he's willing to be ostracized and demonized is true, I bet speaking from the bottom of his heart about who he is felt freaking amazing. |
