| Amazing episode! Really loved they finally included some backstory of Tochirou and Emeraldas to how they first met and how everything developed to that part. I do wonder if we'll see the death of Tochirou or well the transfer to the Arcadia in this anime as we did in the Ginga Tetsudou 999 movie! |

I don't think it will play out exactly the same, as the two shows were produced by different companies (and there's no sign of the 3-9 in this series), but it will hopefully play out similarly. |

| Really great episode! Nice to see the backstory of Harlock and his friend Tochirou, and how Tochirou and Emeralda met. And if there was any doubt before, now we know for certain that the ship’s main computer is Tochirou! |

| Some backstory about Harlock's friend, Tochirou. Emeraldas is also introduced. Harlock is a pirate, but a Western-style outlaw in this episode. Even back then, Harlock is a man of ideals. More hints about the nature of the Arcadia and its computer. I'm interested to learn more in the next episode. |
