What??? It's predicted he's going to be the demon king? Lots of sweet battle scenes and humor. The plot gets more interesting as the story progresses. A guy joins a school and is short on cash. He goes to the store one night to get a cheap dinner and basically gets the crap beaten out of him, because he had no idea what was going on. Enter Fight Club. JK JK, but seriously, It's basically an underground school society/club type deal where everyone must fight for a cheap meal, since most of the people can't afford expensive food. If you don't win the fights, then you basically don't get to eat. It's pretty interesting and funny. Don't look down on this one or take it lightly. http://myanimelist.net/anime/6594/Katanagatari - I know what you're thinking when it comes to this one. The animation quality looks childish. It looks like it is made for children. HOWEVER, it's freaking awesome and funny at the same time. In fact, I'm probably going to re-watch it now that it has been brought up. It has one of the most interesting romantic interactions I've seen in an anime. Now, I know you didn't ask for that, but it's a nice bonus. The Male MC is like a total badass, but is clueless to the outside world, since he has lived on a small island with his sister his whole life. I just got done re-watching it and it was still just as awesome. Seriously? You're not interested in a total badass getting stronger by sucking on boobs? Whhaaaaaat????? | People say the plot pacing for K was pretty bad, but the art and animation were what saved it, so brace yourself. I'll second Ben-to even though it lacks romance, but the action and comedy is solid. I'll also throw in Baka to test to Shoukanjuu, because it fits pretty much most of your criteria. The summary on Mal isn't very good, but it's solid slapstick comedy with unique action. |

The title says possibly a harem, plus most of the recommendations so far aren't really harems either. Baka to test has a bunch of love conflicts, so in that sense it's okay. Plus OP liked Sora no Otoshimono, and Baka to test reminds me of that series for some strange reason. The plots are very different, but both are solid slapstick comedies. |
