And the two meets once again...Jin and Jo.

Well, that was something special at the Phantom place. Go Jo! :)

MAN. FUCK JIN. WHAT THE HELL. I'm so pissed off and upset now. What the hell, Steve was my favorite in that team and then they go and make it seem like he was going to shoot Lang Qing who is my second favorite in the team.
Steve was a good person and I really liked him. Man. I hate that I ever liked Jin, he keeps getting all of these characters that I like hurt or killed. He better have a good reason for all of this!

This show is a little nihilistic, but it’s a pretty decent watch. Jin is quite the villain.

Jin better retain his role as the villain on the next episode, and not tell shit like he did it because he was forced to or something to that extent. Else he'll further mess up with the characters as well as the viewer's feelings. I admire Sana for being brave to face the truth.

How can they be so stupid that they go back just to talk with Jin. They were just lucky it worked out so well and I doubt they're out of the woods yet.

Innocent Venus took the atmosphere and themes the first two episodes had and trashed it in favour of whatever this cheap melodramatic mecha/shonen shlock is supposed to be. Jin turning on the spotlights and gloating in front of Jo and then following it up with the most exaggerated and stereotypical villain laugh perfectly sums up the direction this anime went thematically. I can't discern any remaining nuance from this series about a bunch of misfits in stupid outfits fighting the evil brainwashing baddies. And of course, we can't forget about Steve's death. Jo and Steve had such an irreplacable twenty second relationship together...Steve even sheds a manly tear after he dies...that's this anime's cue for the viewer to start crying too, naturally. Are you in fits of tears yet?

Sana wanting to see Jin also has no reasonable explanation and only risks putting her and Jo in a dire situation because he was nice once upon a time, even though Jin revealed that to be a facade. Sana is young, but she can't be this deluded. He's now buying his time and intending to regale them with stories of his past until his allies show up to gun them all down.
