| It's very Joestar of Joseph to introduce himself to a random individual in the middle of the desert. It's hilarious how he kept cracking jokes throughout the fight. It's incredible how the pillar guys get into people with their wounds. As usual, the Sun is effective. |

| Poor Stroheim getting killed by Sanviento like that. He did help Joseph in his fight even if he wasn't entirely on his side for the most part. Looks like Joseph though is gonna need some more training because there are gonna more like Sanviento and by more I mean Pillar Men and from the looks of it he's gonna himself a new partner in the next episode or so. With Battle Tendency the joy of it is simply the fact that Joseph is a witty main character and likes to mess with his opponents which is something I do like about this part in particular. A bit more humour during the fights to give it a bit more life to them. His way of dealing with Sanviento was just ingenious just using his absorbing techinque against him. The pacing is so fast again such an improvement over Phantom Blood any day. So much awesomeness to be had for Jojo. Just a brilliant episode all around for me just nothing else to say but brilliant for me. |
| Watching this in dub is quite the spectacle honestly. Santana till his end was fun to watch and it can't be helped with Joseph being funny and unserious most of the time like dude he's just a master prankster at his core example being when he jokes abt his eaten hand when it's not LMAO. |
