| That most likely means aired on TV first, rather than a separate TV series. The 4 episodes are going to be aired on the same date, so what I'm trying to say is that this is most likely a 4 part TV Special rather than a full cour TV series. |

| Is there so much to cover with the Tsubasa Arc, that 4 episodes with 30+ minutes won't be enough? (haven't read the novels) As far as I remember the flashback in Bakemonogatari indicated it to be a normal-length arc for this series. (Though, my memory regarding Bake- and Nise- has been nearly wiped blank by episode 8 of Nise-... |

| It's a TV series with special airing arrangements, broadcast on three mediums (local channel, satellite, and Internet). This is different from an OVA series that receives preview airing like One Off. The current widely held belief is that Kuro is the precursor to a full series that includes Shiro (another 4 episodes) and many of the remaining Monogatari novels. |
