That sting they planned for the detective was awesome, this episode was pretty much that, some of the usual jokes and whatnot.

It doesn't matter who it is but I'd like my compensation now - Saeba

*Mokkori will be your downfall*
I don't believe that XD
I don't know why people write that they are approachable persons,
if you were you wouldn't be on MAL.

Extended families or lovers on MAL are a farce.

The conclusion to this case was cool I guess. I'm just a bit disappointed that Saeko was out of the loop, and didn't play a bigger role after the other three were arrested. But nice!

Editing this because I forgot to mention that I never thought I would see Ryou using his skills to strip down another man. lol Nice, but the guy certainly paid at least a bit for his crimes by dying half-naked like that.

Wait a minute, how did they put the miniature mic there?
There's like no time at all between
Oh well

I was expecting them to "one-shot" Ryou with bullet, I guess a punch works well too xD
Poor Ryou.. Those two sisters should pay Ryou, especially Saeko.. like at least give him money as compensation :P

Definitely some of my favorite episodes. I like when they do 2 episode arcs. Reika is definitely better than Saeko. 5/5

Part two of a two parter episode introducing Reika, younger sister of Saeko Nogami. 'She is 34 1/2 and her sister is 34 totalling 68 1/2' - Ryo. Lol

The bad cop in the department turned out to be an Inspector Fukamachi of the Narcotics Division - an Olympic gold medallist in the shooting event. Still can't beat Ryo's shooting skill. 'I am the man who make the impossible, possible. Sorry but I am the number one in the professional world.' - Ryo

The bad cop went up to Superintendent Kurokawa of the Narcotics Division. The way he was brought down was classic with his confessions broadcasted all over the police HQ. A good episode.

The final canon episode of City Hunter Season 1.

Also, this episode was making me sick, so I'm skipping it.

My final thoughts on City Hunter? It sucks. Why are there so many filler episodes? And every episode is just the same shit over and over again: Ryo just protecting some woman or girl. It is the most boring and repetitive show I've ever seen. Sorry, but episodic/standalone episodes/monster-of-the-week shows like this will always be worthless. Excluding 2-parters, if the story doesn't continue in the next episode, then what's the point? I don't know how anyone would prefer episodic shows over shows with an overarching story. There's no development. Back to the status quo in the next episode. They only work for me if it's a CGDCT show, and at least those shows try to be different in each episode. Shows like this, along with police procedurals etc., the story just ends as soon as it begins in the same episode. There's no plot, so there's nothing to be invested in. So they're not rewarding to watch. There's no payoff in the end. It's okay if a show starts off episodic and then after episode 8, it suddenly has a plot. But if it's always episodic, then it's a waste of time. I honestly don't recommend this show to anyone. The only good thing about episodic shows is if I don't like the episode 5 minutes in, I could just skip to the next episode. I skipped the filler episodes, but the canon episodes also feel like filler episodes.
