| So, I'm getting one of these the day I turn 18. Specifically, I'm getting Rikku's design from FFX-2 on the entirety of my left forearm. But, for what it's worth, this isn't about me. How do you guys feel about them? Why do you think people react with so much hostility to them, as opposed to not reacting the same way to the guy across the street who has two full arm sleeves and a smiley face on his shlong? |

| I never quite what's the fuss with tattoos, why do people mind them so much? If you feel like you'll enjoy it for the rest of your life then do it, if your parents and the ones close to you are okay with it, then don't care about what the rest of the world says. |

| I don't know why people give a shit about other people's tattoos. Though, before I turned 18 I was totally set on getting a tattoo of the Triforce and the Sheikah symbol from Zelda. Then I didn't and I'm glad. It just seems like a silly idea to me now, even though I've loved Zelda since before I can even remember. |

| I'm 20 and I think that if One piece ends epically and I still believe that it's my favorite anime and that it has impacted and changed my life then I will get a One piece tattoo. Other of my favorite anime sound like they could have pretty cool tattoos, the Ouroboros from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood small somewhere, maybe where one of the Homonculus had it could be cool, although too bad I can't get it on my eye(shout out to you Wrath). And I'm ok being looked at as a big geek. |

| I wanted to get a curse mark from Naruto on me at one point but I decided against it. If I ever to decide to get a tatoo, it's got to be something that has heavy meaning behind it. Not just something to remind you of your favorite show or a cool looking animal. It's like when people get the word family put on them. I think that has to be one of the most common tats and is overused but if they're someone who values family above all else then it makes sense for them to have that. |

| I know someone who has a big Mew tattoo on her calf. She's a serious Pokemon fan and has been for years, so I don't think its silly at all. She's had it for a few years now and loves it just as much now as she did when she first got it. I've not seriously thought of getting an anime-related tattoo, but if I did it would probably be a small Brand of Sacrifice from Berserk somewhere on my body. Loved the manga for years, so why not. I'm more concerned about where a tattoo is placed instead of its permanence. |

| In most cases I wouldn't get a tattoo, but if I had to get one from an anime it would most likely be the hell-bound tattoo from Jigoku Shoujo. I think as long as it's some sort of symbol and not an actual anime character, it shouldn't influence your social life too much. |
| I have a forearm anime sleeve tattoo. It is very colourful, girly and beautifully done. Everyone comments on it when they see it about how vibrant it is. It also reflects my personality therefore no one has called me for it. I'd say go for it if it is what you really want, remember a tattoo is perminant. And make sure you go to an excellent tattooist who is framiliar with anime. My tattooist was an anime fan that is how mine is so spot on and detailed. A tattooist who doesn't understand anime could use the wrong technique or colours etc. Good luck :3 x |

| I love tattoos, I have a few myself. The thing is, I've seen alot of bad anime character tattoos. Alot of tattoo artist arnt used to that, so its good to do alot of research. I want to some day get an anime character tattooed on myself. |

| I think only anime-based designs are decent, like the Command Seals from Fate/Zero for example. A picture of an anime character tattooed on yourself would be... atrocious - at least to me. |
