I understand what the Mangaka is aiming for, but I'm struggling to connect with the characters. The Mangaka wants us to root for their comeback after their devastating loss last time. They aim to excite us with the debut of their new moves and the hard work they've put in over the past year. However, this isn't resonating with me. Since I didn't actually get to witness their evolution just the fruits of their labour.

In Haikyuu, the Mangaka successfully made us care deeply about Hinata, which made his progress exciting to watch. In Blue Lock, the focus wasn't on caring about the characters as much, but rather on being thrilled by their evolution. Currently, Kuroko no Basket seems to be trying to do both, but I feel it's falling short in both areas.

Decent balance between serious and comedy moments among the rest of the Seirin players, plus a extremely cool joined action between the two main characters. Too bad Kagami has already 4 fouls, even if i'm not entirely convinced about the last being a charging one.
