| The infamous scene is just as cursed as I remember it being, if not even more so. All I can really say is that it's kind of ironic how one of the very first lines in Bake (i.e. one of the first lines in all of Monogatari) is Koyomi being dismissive of the entire concept of the siscon as absurd and ridiculous, yet here he is becoming the very thing he and the franchise lampshaded right from the start. It's also completely pointless and basically as close as this franchise ever gets to outright filler, which is unfortunate when usually every scene has at least some sort of purpose no matter how cursed or otherwise inappropriate. |
| The toothbrush scene was kinda hilarious in a weird twisted way, but no way in hell the scene was important to the plot. We could've had a completely different game, if this scenes didn't exist, I'd actually like Koyomi. I hope this weird incest thing doesn't become a major plot point... I will drop this series if this continues for the rest of it. I heard this was the most infamous fanservice scene in the series tho, so I have hope. Worst ep of Monogatari so far, but was entertaining in a "so bad its good" way. |

| Beginning of Tsukihi Phoenix arc! The OP Platinum Disco is so freaking good. Better than Marshmallow Justice even which played in 5 episodes. The song and the dance are just that good. Come to think of it, I didn't remember Karen Bee arc being this long. Probably because the first 3 episodes were just setups. Crazy. Oh, man... What can I say about this episode... It's the infamous toothbrush scene. It doesn't surprise me at all that this episode has the most amount of comments out of all the Nise episodes. Bruh. I did not remember almost the entire episode being the toothbrushing scene. Seriously, Shaft animators are just a bunch of lunatics. They somehow managed to make one guy brushing his sister's teeth way more sexual than it would've been if the two just fucked... That is some serious talent right there. I am surprised this episode didn't get banned anywhere. Maybe it did but I just don't know. How the hell did it air on Japanese TV? I don't understand at all. Considering they don't allow more tame shit like gore and underage smoking/drinking anymore. And the shit they did after Tsukihi left to get an awl... Did they continue?! I don't like how it implies the two might've fucked for real like Senjougahara's teasing in the last episode. But who knows, maybe Tsukihi stopped them before they actually crossed the line. The worst part about this is how Karen seemed like she was enjoying it... And all this just to meet a degenerate lesbo who might do even worse shit with her... |

| I was waiting for some incest in sisters arc it finally came freaking through. Peak Wincest peak peak peak Wincest. Karen finally got her best moment after her arc. She looked so pretty and her act with Nichan just incredible. Entire episode was just incredible. Brushing can never ever be this hot. Thank god for Monogatari. ABSOLUTE CiNEMA🙌 |
