| i was so worried for ippo when he was about to fall asleep, i was so relieved when he got up and was able to defend. Sheesh Ippo broke Sendos rib holy cow 😭😭 This fight is absolutely insane. |

| Masterfully done, when that ED theme started playing it hit right in the spot in terms of emotional impact, this fight is just one for the hall of greatness in terms of anime fights |
| Sendo's past is still as a menace as he is in the present, he straight up said he wanted to meet the strongest man in Japan and he really did that - He managed to get the featherweight champ belt. Ippo gets knocked down this time and he quickly steels his resolve and regret from the previous failures. He's definitely back in the game, he manages to get some real deadly shots in at Sendo but he's struggling to keep up. I'm glad Ippo isn't using borrowed power (using the power of plot armor and random energy from the past events) in a bad way to get an upper hand. It's good to see the perspective through the spectators and internal monologues, this is definitely building up big time. |
