| While Mayushii is my favorite (so cuteeeee) i dont think they'd work out as a romantic couple. Mayushii is his sweet and gentle childhood friend, I don't think he necessarily sees her in a romantic light. Kurisu on the other hand is perfect for him, basically a lady mad scientist! I never thought i'd talk about shipping in an anime. I usually dont get into that stuff :P |

| Well I always thought that there was a chemistry between okabe & kurisu . Just think of it.Okabe & Mayushi were best friends,Since childhood.And i think okabe & mayushi doesn't fit actually as lovers.Their is an age difference & their was a feeling of responsibility,no chemistry. Whereas okabe & kurisu are really perfect to me.And later on okabe confesses himself..What can we say after that lol :D |
| I love Mayushi very much(even though I hate lolis), especially because of her VA. I enjoyed her character very much but I always thought of her being only Okarin's friend, hell, I even thought she was like his daughter, the way she acted was too childish for me to think her character would work in any romantic relationships. I've seen the VN of Mayuri's ending but even in that ending it was obvious only Mayuri was in love with Okarin, and Okabe still crying over Kurisu, still in love with her and he was definitely feeling awkward that Mayuri thought they were really dating, it felt like he had no choice but to date her 'cause he didn't want to hurt her. However, from the very beginning it was obvious that Kurisu and Okarin would end up together, I mean they've obviously got such great chemistry. After watching episode 22 I was like: "YES!!!" Some people may not like Kurisu because she's tsundere(at least better than yandere imo), and I usually hate tsundere type of characters but Kurisu is definitely the cutest and the right one I've seen, so attractive and simply lovable. Let's not forget that Okarin is a tsundere as well. They are just perfect for each other, they are fun to watch unlike Mayushi/Okarin. Okarin/Kurisu takes my vote. |

| Unfortunately, we're a small minority in the community, but I also ship Okabe with Mayuri. The situation at the end with Kurisu felt like such an ass-pull after he spent the first 20 episodes crying and agonizing over Mayuri; the only person who could cheer him up and make him smile. I was actually offended when he apparently threw that all away at the end and declared Kurisu, a person he met only three weeks ago, was the person he cared for the most. Boy, bye... |
