| It's nice to see Gamlin kick ass in a mech that gets shot down regularly. I really don't know why Mylene is keeping the fact that she's in a band a secret from him. Fun episode, though every episode has been fun so far. Which makes me glad since I came into this show thinking it was going to be meh(I was only going to watch it because I want to watch the whole Macross saga). |

| ^^ Well, I think it's reputation. It doesn't really look good if the major's daughter sings in a rock band. I guess if the relationship with Gamlin doesn't go well, then Mylene would need to say goodbye to the band. And Gamlin doesn't really get along with Basara, we know why, so I think that's why Mylene is keeping this a secret. Somehow I don't like the singing parts :/ Always the same songs... |

| Basara has been a jerk. The audience actually liking the songs (not that I think that they're bad) at the end seems to be a deus ex machina. |

| I wonder why nobody can determine the (de)fold location of the aliens, lol. Shouldn't it be easy with the current level of technology? They literally come and go with one ship yet the entire fleet can't defeat them :p |

| Why did Basara go alone in the vent? Couldn't he have just pulled Mylene along? Also, what was the plan with the singing? I understand singing to try and stay awake amidst the freezing cold, but they could have spent that time searching for a way out to begin with. I get Macross 7 is trying to push along the power of songs, but at some point singing can't solve every problem. |
