(SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK)

Hi manga readers! :)
I had read a bit further after the Reze Arc in the manga, but it was long ago so I don't remember much anymore, plus I very rarely read manga.
I remember liking Reze, but when I was watching the movie, I questioned why, until it wrapped up.

So,

I know CSM isn't the type of anime to focus on that sort of thing, but I'm curious

No. Reze returns as one of Makima's minions in the final fight of part 1. However Denji doesn't recognise her. Later on we learn that Pochita made him forget about his memories with Reze by eating the coffee devil. He vomits it out in the aging devil arc and only then Denji's memories of Reze returns. Apart from that we don't have any insights on Reze's current whereabouts.

Guy asks for one specific spoiler and didn't say how far he read in the Manga but some of you are spoiling the whole of part 1 in the process of answering the question.

As far as Denji knows she ran away alone and didn't try to meet him, no need to say more than that.
