| As expected, the book is of some significance to the conspiracy as it holds the truth regarding the magi within: That all but one of them fled instead of fighting the emissary. Also interesting to see the different perspectives of Sedona and Togid regarding that matter and our first proper look into the inner workings of Leoh's movement as well as the Rakta nationalist movement and Bellir setting his plan in motion. What a way to end the volume; we really opened up the playing field and the worldbuilding continues to mesmerize. Plus, the final scene with Theo and Sophie getting closer, can't wait to see what will happen to cause Sophie to write down Theo's story. Anyway, time for another year of waiting before we get the next bunch of chapters. |
