| This anime has great pacing in general but this episode specifically is even better. I don't know if I should thank the script writer, series composition, episode director or literally everyone because this episode is a treat to watch! If you think about it, Arata is the opposite of your generic harem protagonist. Yeah he's easily flustered and turns red immediately, but who doesn't right? He finds out his siblings aren't related by blood yet he's trying his best to maintain the status quo; even prior to the reveal where he stopped Kotono when she confessed to him. He trains, is supportive to every one of his sisters (we haven't seen him interact with Shion) and reliable when shit hits the fan. It's his sisters that are in his way of doing so. Banri teases him on a daily basis. Seiha drags him into her experiments or whatever. Kotono outright says she loves him and doesn't fumble. And now Ouka kisses him on the lips! They're basically asking for it at this point. Ouka's action and its effects are in no way justifiable, but who can win against that smile?  |

| Well I'm glad we finally got that weird arc behind us, Ouka's reason to just leave for Mount Fuji was still strange. I knew he would be awake in the end though, that's such a thing to happen in anime xD |
| Ouka 👎🏽 Honestly, I’m glad this little arc is over with. It was was a bore for me. Banri going off the rails was unnecessary as well. Of course Arata would get hit with a fever. Anyone could’ve saw the coming during the rain scene… I’m hoping that the next 2 episodes are better than the previous 2 episodes. |

AY FUCKING YOOO Ouka actually did it she actually is the first one to kiss Arata wth and the boats surprising part was that ARATA WAS AWAKE😭😭😭😭😭
So as I expected Ouka was taking the whole “not sibling” news from her dad pretty badly that it was affecting her grades I’m glad she got out of that sadness but what I think I found to eh the most heartwarming part of this episode was when Ouka told her dad she likes him the most and hugged him she’s fr a daddy’s girl🥹🥹🥹🩷
Yay my nigga Shion made an appearance again it’s always a good episode when he’s there and bro actually did something for once and carried Arata like I thought all the girls were gonna carry bro💀

| With Ouka's attachment to her hairclips being of a trend with sentimental value, and Arata managing to find her once again on the cliff, the classic tsundere act of the former doesn't slide with the latter anymore, which thankfully the siblings go back on track, albeit with the bad weather wearing him down. But whether are they siblings or not, the fact that Arata has been taking care of her like an actual sibling speaks volumes more than just one that's not related to one another. That said, the siblings coming to Mt. Fuji to fetch both Arata and Ouka, with Minami's quick thinking and Banri's less-than-stellar driving experience, the former feeling like she's the only one whose difference is notable at best, however, is overshadowed by the bond of the siblings...at least with her realizing her feelings well enough for Arata. The case of Arata's rather bad fever, as a result of Ouka's misdemeanour and realization that things would not be the same, finally comes to the realization that whatever she did will never change things, as they're meant to be. And sure, the sisters looking after their hardworking big brother is an essential, though IMO it should be Ouka who should be nursing him back to health, though what came out of it was more than just a confession, it's an actual kiss on the lips that validates her feelings all the more. The bad part...is that Arata noticed it, what's he's going to do about it now? |

| Wow, Ouka actually had the guts to do that, and it turns out Arata was actually wide awake. At least now Arata knows exactly how Ouka feels but what will he make of it. Is he just going to play it off like he did with Kotono? |

| O.O When Ouka got that "D" on her mock exam, I thought we were in for a studying-arc of some sort. What we got was way better, a hike up Mount Fuji, to, in desperation, maybe perhaps talk with her late mother. Dang. I felt that. Just wanting to talk to someone you lost, one last time. And talk about what, you may ask? Well, about family, and whether or not they are still truly a family. And the simple answer to that is yes, as Arata strongly reiterates as he carries Ouka down the mountain. And in fact, they're becoming more than a family, in fact. The dad's announcement that they were not related by blood may have split everybody apart in one sense, but brought them all back together stronger in another. Idk, maybe I'm talking outta my ass. I will just say that I do hope that the dad does have more in mind when he revealed the truth to everyone at Kotono's birthday. Because he really did non-chalantly declare it and moved on like it was nothing. Maybe it is just played for sh*t's and giggles the way he delivered it, but I do hope that we have a moment later or something where he says something along the lines of "I knew it was time" or something like that. Anyway. What's important is that while Ouka had momentarily felt separated from her father and family, Arata's physical and mental rescue came in clutch as what he said connected her truly to her family and father once again. And yes, a kiss. I love how subtly it was delivered. No insane build-up, or explosions or fireworks in the background or whatever. They were just showing the rest of the sisters having fun downstairs as they cut to the scene upstairs. Impeccably done. But that's not what surprised me the most, it's that ARATA WAS FREAKING AWAKE. Can't say THAT was on my bingo card. Honestly I was expecting Ouka to be some character who you think is in love with the main character but was actually not, just for something cheap like shock value. But nope, Ouka's love for Arata is confirmed. MAYBE she's still a bit unsure, but come on, I think a kiss 99% of the time seals the deal. That's a big hell yeah from me. Minami's cute and all, especially the blushes she makes whenever Arata's name is mentioned. But no, Ouka still best girl and really should be the only girl. Progress is cool. But unfortunately Arata's just going to try and play it off probably, and will continue to pretend that he was asleep in that moment. That's fine ig, that's what would anyone would do. But I'm half-expecting him to eventually tell her that he was aware that Ouka kissed him. Because compared to most other rom-coms, I find that characters are a little bit more transparent with each other than usual, which, big thumbs up here. |
