This was interesting!

Azusa, Shalsa, and Falfa go to the World Spirit Summon and it’s not as exciting as I thought it would be. I wonder how often it occurs. Once a year, once a decade, century? As Azusa pointed out, it’s just the spirits talking amongst themselves and then they dip. At least Shalsa and Falfa enjoyed themselves, and it seems the one who organized this summit, Yufufu, wanted to meet Azusa. That also reminds me of how Azusa’s nickname is Witch of the Highlands and how she has clapped a lot of cheeks (NO HOMO) during the first season. She is max level, so it makes sense. As of now, she is the strongest individual in this world.

Back to Yufufu, she comforts Azusa and talks about how mothers need mothers of their own, and that made me think… wouldn’t this cycle just continue indefinitely. Because whoever serves as Azusa’s mother (in this case Yufufu) would eventually need her own mother, and then that person would need one, and that would continue forever. I doubt that the series will dive deep into that philosophical discussion, so I’ll leave it at that.

Lastly, it seems the immortal individual that the three spirits mentioned during the summit is actually an undead that the demons have been trying to take into their custody (not to arrest them, but to protect them from the humans). Her name is Pondeli, and she is really lazy. She lived her life trying to slack off and she died by starving herself because eating became a pain for her. Beelzebub tried to convince Pondeli by beating her in a game, but it didn’t work so, so Azusa had to come up with a compromise.

What kind of stuff will await us for the next episode?

I guess in this fantasy world... ANYTHING can become a full-humanoid body spirit huh...

BTW... apparently Azusa doesn't know what a undead is... she only figured out how to "identify" them after reading the flyers...

See guys... never skip video games, TV shows and Movies, otherwise you won't know super common knowledge. Just reading books makes you stupid. As you won't have any visual idea from just reading words if you never saw it before, LOL.

(IE: here's a random uncommon creature, Gemsbok, what's it look like? it has two horns and black strips on its body, can you visualize what this looks like? probably not, cause you probably never heard or saw the creature before, all you know is the description I just gave you, you won't know where the horns or where the stripes are) (this is why boomer helicopter parents that smash on picture books, comics, manga, anything of entertainment as a waste of time and makes their children just read text books is extremely stupid)

Tho... 40 years... yet the Demons were saying they do check up often... so... how did they miss this for 40 years? (since they directly went to search out for this one specific undead, meaning the Demons had ways to detect if there are undead somewhere in the world, but didn't go search til now?)
