| I think I'm going to like the story, especially since I haven't watched Mushoku Tensei yet. Still, I'm afraid that the animation quality will decrease and make this enjoyment worse. (I have no discomfort with the panoramic scenes, but please don't let the fight scenes look so bad). |

| This is not as bad as the score makes it out to be, just a standard start to a fantasy isekai. Although Arthur's former world being sci-fi with insane technology just looks really off with the poor animation. |
| [Just started this series, haven't fully checked the controversy with the animation and directing direction that seems to be all over the forum] But... episode 1... 2 mins in... WTF? From the Synopsis, I see "strongest king in history", and I was like oh ok, it's going to be like a hero king that the other Fantasy series have... NOPE... It's literally a King where he sends hundreds of plans to spread-bombing the civilians... What is this? a Russia/ MiddleEast King? LOL Also... how the fuck did he die in the first place? he was monologuing and then just somehow "drowned"? . TBH, this series sounds interesting on paper, but looks stupid when watching it (in both plot and animation) . Also, the "slide animation", is extremely common in the China 2D Donghua section (that isn't 3D animations). China is extremely poor in 2D artists to fully anime a series. So most of them with the money ends up going with Tenscent's 3D animation technology. And as such that most rich series goes with 3D, this leaves the 2D culture in China in a poor and poorer states where they all end up as Slideshow or Cutboard animation. |

| Can't believe I was so hyped to watch this because the webtoon community hyped it up, only to get this kind of adaptation, maybe I'll give this another episode or so but looks like the animation is simply not on par with what I was hoping for |

| Late to the party but I just like to say that I know this anime is always compared to mushoku tensei though personally I think it has its own uniqueness that just happens to have similar story to that compared anime. anyways the premise seems interesting and worth watching |
| The first episode is exactly like Jobless. Rudeus secretly reads books and quietly practices magic, accidentally causing a big bang. The magic system is similar to that in Jobless. There are also wars and magicians. Some magicians strengthen themselves, while others are better at manipulating the mana around them. It's also all about isekai, specifically with rebirth. Oh, and the voiceover of the main character... It's not at all like the one in Jobless. Only one in a hundred has magic, but Mom and Dad do. They are most likely former adventurers who have settled down. The art is mediocre. The audio is too. It's unclear why you would swing a sword in a high-tech world. It's also unclear why the main character babbles about being the strongest. I suppose the structure of his native world is nonsense. Perhaps power is determined by duels or fights, and the strongest have it. How such a world became high-tech is unclear. It's incomprehensible. |

| Heard a lot of hype from this franchise because it's pretty similar to MT but heard a lot of negativity due to the animation being still frames most of the time but let's hope at least the ost and story are enough to carry the anime yeah? but then I should just read the manhwa with isekai-ish ost to hear while reading right? Well, I just want to see moving manhwa panels at least because it's a bit worth it :D We start off with the usual main mc being reincarnated and isekaied to a whole different world, King Grey the unstoppable getting assassinated now born as Arthur Leywin. Really interested in his character growth already. Honestly, I don't really like the character designs all that much but hoping that the manhwa will look better and the manhwa isn't even on mal here, maybe because it's a South Korean-American work? with that it counts as a western work ig. Decent ep but yeah, animation is very below average here oof. Hope future eps won't look worse at least but if they are then ouchies. |

| Holy crap, this is utter dog-shit. Even from your standard generic isekai slop standards, this is still way worse. But as I understand, this was a relatively hyped-up one that people were actually looking forward to, so that just makes it even worse. Anyway, just wanted to compare it to OPM S3 since the score of that is now currently way below this. This is still worse, but one punch man is one punch man so of course standards are through the roof with that compared to this which is far closer to a nothing-burger. Anyway, have nothing else to say than what has already been repeated countless times months ago. Just gonna check out the 2nd episode to see how even more shit it gets then drop it. |
