I was expecting more is probably the issue. I wasn't crap just felt I didn't hit heights I was hoping for. can't remember the name but it had this samurai group but with these virus type zombies I loved it

I mean, it wasn't a groundbreaking anime with something new, but the last arc and some characters made it worth it watch it, I hope it gets some more recognition because I know it can be better.
and for the anime you mention, I can't remember which one it is haha

Totally agree! Loved this historical piece and really keen details to the whole story and main character, who didn’t fit those standarts, but still he managed to show himself differently. And with MC influence everyone else are changed and that you can see through whole story. Can’t wait for last series!!!

For me in my top five for Fall 2024. Might be too preachy for some and lacking on traditional swordplay.
I do respect the mindset of all the characters it takes a village.

yeah that's it. thanks. your top 5 of fall. your a samurai fan then I take it. I understand you liking cos I really like horror anime and would rate it higher just cos it's my genre. but I no it's not the same kinda 8 rating

very interesting. that's probably why I had excitement becos of the portrayal of the wolves as this super cop team and now they get their own anime. it's like u got vikings in a baki style anime and you hear of a new anime about a relentless vikings clan. cos it was good but it was more interesting then exciting for me

sword of the stranger is great my fav without a doubt is samurai champloo.samurai seven was one of my first animes. thanks will check them out added to my list

This was the anime I looked out for most each week. Granted, I love stories set in an historical setting, but I also liked the storylines and the characters. Even the artwork was top-notch.

Can't wait for the second season, next winter.
