| I don't know why, but I ended up enjoying this episode quite a lot, and ended up as one of my favorites so far. It's good to see Yui succeeding, and Yui and Masugu's relationship become stronger and stronger. I'm glad they ended up singing a song together at the karaoke (the opening, nonetheless). Also, we finally got more updates on the Soumei and Hayakawa relationship. As I suspected, they have a bit of an age gap, and Hayakawa being a senior in their workplace also doesn't help (although they are from different departments). But I could swear I saw them introducing Soumei as a 26 year old around the first episodes, so hearing he's actually 24 shocked me. Maybe I dreamt about that. But it was hard to see Hayakawa distancing herself from Soumei, because it's clear Soumei appreciated his time with her, even if he doesn't see her more than a friend. And let's be real, Soumei is the GOAT here, he simply doesn't care about what others think, I'm glad he's getting more screentime. Curious to see how that will develop later! |
