As someone who occasionally has friends and my parents visit my home, I can't fathom using these as decor. | I have a couple figures in swimsuits, but nothing like that. I'm sure my boomer parents hate them. I pose some of them with model cars that was a unique idea I had. I have one of Shamsiel that the bikini she wears is removable but I never removed it since I was afraid it would break and she looks better with the stuff on. I noticed figures have become basically a 3D porn hobby; it didn't used to be like that in 2019-21 when I bought mine. OFT I was in a major mall in my state this weekend and they actually have an anime store. I was so excited to see one finally- it was full of figures. And... they were all really cheap $20-$40 crappy figures mostly from One Piece or Pokemon. They also had plushies of the same, and tons of those horrible bobble-head things. The only nice figures I saw worth buying were two Miku's, one she was a mermaid. Only a $40 figure still. I felt so l33t being in there, like I have a $300 Meltryllis figure on my shelf! |
