| Puniru "tasting" not the cakes themselves but the feelings behind them was surprisingly mature, loved that we got to see how everyone was spending their Xmas and that Kotarou doesn't call Puniru cute not because she isn't or anything of the like but was a sort of defense mechanism he came up with when younger so she could always be by his side. | That flashback accompanied by the slow jingle tunes really got me. It's so nice to see everyone spending their separate time during the Christmas eve. Overall very heartwarming and adorable episode as always. Merry Punirumas! |

| Awhhhh between this, wanpre and Meido sama idk which had the cutest episode this week! Kotaro finally realising how cute Puniru is and being ok spending the holiday with her was so cute! Seeing his flashback to how he got bullied for liking cute stuff as a kid really made me understand why he’d be so reluctant to acknowledge her as cute now. Like he’s had to train himself and his brain to not say what he really feels out of fear of being ostracised which sucks. Boy or girl you should be able to like what you like. I love the Christmas tree scene and them falling asleep on each other so much ❤️ please don’t be an asshole to get next week Kotaro |

More serious and less fun than the other episodes, Kotaro and Puniru relationship put on a more clear display of compassion. sweet. |

| This episode seemed a lot more slow and sentimental than the rest of the serjes so far. I liked that it avoided drama many comedies ruin themselves with in the final few episodes. Christmas puniru was cute, and I liked seeing all the characters get a chance to shine this episode. |

| Humor and love were at their peak today: The 'renowed chef' was just a weirdo with an obsession for grating radishes. Nanba's monumental cake that turned out to be just clay. Kotaro eloping with Puniru. The true meaning behind Kotarou's denial. The choice of the angelic background song was also really spot on; I could truly feel the Christmas spirit of family and love. |

| That beginning of episode with the split Puniru... Kotarou being contradicting yet again (or he's just that blind). "Can't you see you're bothering the others" Puniru literally isn't... in fact it was the opposite, cause everyone wanted a small Puniru, which would have solved all of their issues wanting to spend time with Puniru. (but they ended up spending time in the school instead of going with others) . Also... that reason for not calling Puniru cute... is kinda redundant when everyone is already calling and viewing Puniru cute... so why bother trying to say she isn't... Defense mechanism? it doesn't work like that when you're the only one thinking she isn't cute. You're literally not convincing anyone, since the beginning of the series, LOL (there's no point in keeping up the act when people already know you're into cute things and calls Puniru cute) . Imagine if you're a parent and your kid gets a 100% on a test and then you call them "average or dumb" cause you don't want people to start gloating about how smart your kid is... (trying to convince ppls your kid isn't smart, lol) (But OFC, those girls are in the wrong as well, for being sexists in thinking guys and girls must only do this or that) (but society can technically use the excuse of "kids will be kids" to give the girls a pass and not punish them, in fact I am pretty sure most will support these girls, since most Rural Japan is still into traditions where kids has to be raised in certain ways or take over businesses, etc etc) |

| The Merry Puniru-mas festivities continue, and despite the mess, the Christmas party looks set though, and now it's Puniru who set the rules on who gets to hang out with her. Everyone bringing a cake onto Puniru acting as the critic, and despite all of the assortments from everyone, from the soft to hard and ridiculously dresssed (like Kirara's hardened cake), Kotaro finally makes a run with Puniru into the Christmas night, which snows...because someone is grating daikon outside the window lol. As expected, Kotaro getting the limited-edition Kyuthi-chan cake, which ires Puniru to no end, and her transformation to fit the perfect Christmas atmosphere, as well as the others on their own agendas, it's been a ride for Kotaro accepting Puniru into his life, and yet spending Christmas together just like always. Kotaro and Puniru are just destined to be together. |
