Any news regarding season 2?

After going through past thread, I came to know that the reason behind no announcement of continuation of this series was lack of source material at that time and the anime had caught up to manga. But 2 years have passed since then but still there's no news regarding next season. Has manga not progressed enough for a season adaption?

Anime finished a few chapters behind the manga, which has been on an indefinite hiatus for quite some time now. So no, no news on season 2 sadly🫠

After doing some research I found out that the manga went on 11 month hiatus from june 2022 to May 2023 and then it again went on hiatus on june 2023 for 2 months but It has resumed now and has released 2 voulmes since then and 2 volumes aren't enough for 24 episode adaption. We need at least 10 more volumes. So yeah, maybe we have to wait 2 more years. The manga is being released in weekly shonen jump.

the author was sick, she started writing again on june, volume 11 is going to be out soon

I have the feeling it’s gonna be like it happened with Seraph of the end or Blue Exorcist. We need to wait for the manga, but due it’s hiatus I believe it’s gonna be like the Seraph of the End situation. Just my opinion tho, I hope I’m wrong here.
