During a busy holiday at Ramen Akaneko, a woman named Youko, who calls Hana "Lovepipi", comes to the shop.

Hana is bewildered by this unexpected visitor. As Yokuo says from them to go home together, it becomes clear that she may be Hana's former owner.

Wow. I didn't expect Hana's former owner suddenly to pop out of nowhere. Also, Hana being a former idol was a very big surprise as well.

The encounter of those two escalated very quickly with both of them bursting into tears. Well, I'm glad everything got resolved, and Hana continues to work at Ramen Akaneko.

Sabu looked hilarious in that Elvis wig.

Hana's dance video was so adorable. =^_^= <3

Wasn't expecting to find out that Hana is a former Idol and that her former owner has come looking for her but am glad to see that things were settled amicably and that she is staying in the shop.

Suddenly a strong segment in this episode. Maybe this is why this ramen shop has a very strict "no photo" policy.

@phantomfandom Unfortunately, they can't enforce it ideally and they don't have a lot of staff to skim social media like Yuko did. Didn't expect the one person to show up, but it made sense in hindsight. We'd only seen her once before I think with "scar" guy

@Pottetan I feel like he was just wearing it out of curiosity, but it also served as a way to cut the tension. I was chuckling for a solid 20 seconds at how silly he looked

Even cats are going all YouTube popularity...at least for one person.

The usual busyness in Ramen Akaneko doesn't let up, especially when it comes to Hana being the best waitress. A big take for the resident handyman Shirosaki just needing his mask to eat some Akaneko ramen whilst earning his keep for college, he's a real hard worker. But thereafter, comes Hana being called Love Pipi by from a lady proclaiming that Hana is her cat, she only clearly wants her for more popularity, seething customers' attention. Hana's begrudging from her former owner Yoko being once the idol and influencer that could not buck the trend. Goshogawara in her disguise drags Yoko out..and Sabu just had to don her disguise Elvis-like wig...funny.

Thankfully, Hana is safe within the confines of the cat restaurant, though traces of her past could still be found on her, like the heart on her body signifying her once-idol status. But aove all, she just feels home right at Ramen Akaneko.

Good for Hana knowing what she wants to be.

This episode was a bit dark but still had it's fun and cuteness.

Hana and her owner reunion was great and emotional.

Sabo is a mood lifter eventhough he doesn't do anything intentionally.

Their lawyer is such a nice person, she cares for them very much
I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first
And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

If you stay forever, let me hold your hand
I can fill those places in your heart no else can
Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah
I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim

The fact that Hana shares the same VA as Haruka from Yakuza and the lawyer guy as Kiryu.

I saw the title "Lovely Pipi" and was hoping we were gonna finally meet another talking cat character, but I wasn't expecting Hana's secret idol past. That explains a lot such as why she cuts her hair and the no photos policy. I'm glad she was able to make up with her previous owner. The MV at the end was so cute. Also Goshogawara and Shirosaki cameos.

wow. the Lovepipi music video was the most overstimulating thing ever. so much text flying across the screen and all the other random text along with the super bright colors. if I was Japanese and stumbled across the video itl I'd turn it off 10 seconds in. it's too much

I am glad we saw it, though, with the episode being about Hana as an idol

OMG the Love Pipi dance at the end was simply adorable! Really enjoyed getting lots of Hana airtime this ep. Filled in a lot of holes I was wondering about her character.

That reunion and argument between Hana and her owner was a little too overdramatic... I was feeling second-hand embarrassment through the whole interaction and wanted them to stop and take it elsewhere; there are paying customers who just came for ramen, why did they have to let it ALL out inside the shop? They're all professionals and kind-hearted cats.

Still, it was great getting a look into Hana's life. And it was really funny picturing someone painstakingly animating a cat's idol routine, in a post-credit segment, too. Maybe there was one person that absolutely insisted on doing it.
