@Noboru Back then I wasn’t on the best terms with my late friend who I knew for almost 20 years and we ended up not really talking with each other for a year until he passed away. Felt a lot of regret for not reaching out to help him but since then I went to his funeral, talked to his family and did a lot of reflecting. Nowadays, I found ways to work around burn out like using my time off work to learn new skills and prioritize important things over anime/manga. For me I get burnt out of anime quickly when I watch too many unenjoyable shows partly because I have a habit of waiting too long before dropping a series even if it sucks.
Overall? I’d say things both changed for the better as well as myself.

I would mark your reply as helpful if I could, because it contains quite the interesting information in general First, it tells us exactly what can be the causes or bigger factors of psychologically induced burnout. I guess it took you some time to heal at least a bit from your regrets Secondly, I like how you describe what has helped you. Learning a new skill is pretty much the suggestion mentioned from the linked video here in #14 from the other thread It also shows that it's a question of finding things that are important to you, since after all, it feels more meaningful that way Last but not least, that's a good explanation for your Anime burnout. It might make things easier if you have more quality control and only pick the titles that interest you the most and make you feel the best. Though it's easier for me for things rather than for people |

It's a bit daunting or me to reply to each and everyone but i apprecaite the comments ^^ Seems like everyone has a unique experience with their weekends. Working adults and neets seem to enjoy and relax on weekends but students seem to have it a bit rough. |
