| This was a nyanderful episode, with Mayu & Yuki backstory. But made me angry, felt like a bait-switch. Now that we have the backstory, next episode must be their Precure debut. But nope. |

| Mini Mayu was even more cute, plenty of her and Yuki this episode so it was a good one in my book. |
| As a pet owner that has adopted stray cats, this episode got me in particular. I hated how the older couple kept saying Yuki hates people or that she's a mean cat, when all we actually saw was her being further abandoned and left alone with nothing in extreme weather. Not a single on-screen swat or scratch. She didn't mind attention and welcomed Mayu's warmth as the only person who respected her boundaries and communicated on her level. I think it shows the uneducated bias against an animal from an older generation, and Mayu was able to correct that to the audience. That's the feeling I got. |
