| Chapter 2: It's basically Simone being more of a dick. Resine is that kind girl, but someone like Simone abuses her kindness, even demanding that Resine hand out her homework to Resine. But a sudden reversal in the second part of this chapter. We learn that Simone is the daughter of a famous actress. She doesn't actually feel love from her. The dialogue implies that her father is one of her mother's flings, and she doesn't even know who he is. Resine was initially jealous of Resine for being the daughter of this renowned actress, but seeing firsthand the family dynamics, she came to appreciate the love she felt from her parents. The chapter ends with what look like both of them kissing. ________________ Some reaction: What? Okay, now that we understand Simone's circumstances, we can feel at least some empathy. The kissing scene though. It's too abrupt, and you might only like it if you're already shipping both Simone and Resine. |
