I don't like any day of celebration. So I won't do anything special with my girlfriend, even a while ago I came to work from her house and I didn't even remember that today was Valentine's Day.

I hate to break this to you but, Valentine day is Lupercalia which is a pagan holiday about killing wolfs and lusting after women.

Nowadays it's stupid consumer nonsense that has been losing money and popularity for nearly two decades.

Married we don't celebrate it.

It is such an annoying thing honestly: you are forced to celebrate a meaningless day (not a fan of birthdays too, but at least it is understandable to celebrate them), lest your girlfriend be mad at you.

Not everyone is as desperate as you thankfully.

Yep. I have my husband. We are spending the evening with a Chinese and watching anime.

@Nyarly-Kanamin That's interesting. I'm reading that Valentine's day usually occurs during a larger more popular event so it would make sense to pick a different day.

@Meusnier In position I'm not forced to celebrate it. I just accepted the ones given to me. I kept the cards didn't eat the candy I don't like candy. It seems like day teenagers do shit on doesn't seem fit for an adult.

I don't celebrate my birthday either lol. Husband doesn't mind.
