| Watched the new Skull Island anime and I got to wonder is King Kong and the other animals on Skull Island all Kaiju? According to the King Kong wikia they are but I want to hear your opinions. |

| I don't see why not. He's an impossibly huge creature that rampages through a city. I haven't seen the Skull Island animated series, but historically he fits the bill pretty well. |

| Hmmmm for the original and most of its remakes King Kong wouldn’t really qualify unless you’re referring to the literal definition of kaiju which is monster (loosely). The typical use of the word is typically referring to daikaiju however and only the movies from 2014 and onward really fit that bill. |
