They've even got Mine Carts now, on rails.

We're really advancing fast, maybe way too fast. I feel like they are rushing this a bit, especially when they started the iron exploration, like how did they built that giant excavator? It's feeling really rushed, but I understand it would also make the anime quite boring if they continued to show how they do every little stuff. Maybe they could have done a in-between situation.

Anyways, I'm glad that Chrome is continuing to receive the screentime he deserves, and curious to see how this industrial revolution goes!

Way too many techs and advancements happened in this episode. The time issue I talked about during the last episode is compounded here. At least in episode 3 it was some months that had passed here. They paved a road, created mine rails, mined a ton of iron, and created a distribution network all before winter.

HOOOLLYY, the 5 GENERALS is an absolutely mighty name for these 5 individuals. Kohaku is really out here hyping and glazing on the Science Kingdom's leaders.

Why man's sudden encounter would've been a blight and a curse for those who may discover it, many would probably see it as an omen and stay clear of trying to seek the truth behind the signals. However, for the Science Kingdom, for Senku. It's a guiding compass. This whole time, the Kingdom has been trying to make preparations and journey to the epicentre of the petrification beam in South America, but this time, with Why-man's existence confirmed, many hypotheses can be crossed out. It is definitely NOT a natural disaster.

THE INDUSTRIAL RE-REVOLUTION ERA IS HERE!!!
And with the advent of radio signals and communication towers, the creation of cathode ray tubes and therefore Radar and Sonar was made. Even a metal detector as well! The sky, the water, the ground, a school of fish, a lump of iron or even a faraway object is now within sight. I like how Senku worked on them in front of a whole bunch of people outside of the central individuals in the Science Kingdom. As Ryuusiu put it at the end of the episode, nobody would gladly follow a leader who isn't having fun, and in this case, Senku is having the time of his life restarting modern civilisation from scratch. He's the epitome of an intelligent leader who oozes charisma.

Oil is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
Though not explicitly stated, you can see a fractional distiller for the oil there that allows them to create bitumen, which turns to asphalt with gravel added. Years of seeing different roads would tell you that the paved road the power team laid would not last even 2 years before having severe potholes, especially since Japan is a 4 seasonal country. Modern asphalt is far more technologically advanced than you think. Then again, this road is simply to meet the demand for mining logistics at an industrial scale as opposed to a highway cruise.

And that minecart looks as fun as it is terrifying lol! Imagine lugging half a ton of iron ore with you in it!
