| I feel like the whole episode was quite predictable in how it played out and the comedy is still a big miss for me. I'll try to stay optimistic, but this is quite disappointing so far. |

By the way, that Sphinx’s riddle, Lemon should’ve known the answer, it's really famous after all. Yeah. On the plus side, she has a great Italian dub voice, finally met in person one month ago. Some details about Mash going through the exams were actually funny, and glad that the headmaster didn't act like a total villain too. |

| The pacing kinda felt a bit fast but the episode was overall a banger! Lots of exceptionally funny dialogue to laugh at and plenty of action to go around. Overall a "mashable" episode :) |

| Much funnier than the first episode. There are enough unusual, bombastic people introduced that Mash won't seem like an out of place personality. That said, there were more effective tests Claude could've used to fail Mash there. Most of the examinations either involved a physical component, or didn't require magic at all. Simply having the students cast a novice-level spell (something like a fireball or summoning a slime monster) would've been far more discriminating against those who don't actually have mana to use. |
