Yeah kamina was best boy but the story is about seeing Simon move on and realize his role in life. One of the most beautiful journeys. I’ll admit that it was a bit hard to watch for a bit when Simon was being emo, but that makes it feel so much better in the end

Simon gets so much better to the point where I'd argue he's better than Kamina, as hard to believe as that might be.

Trust me. First few episodes are pretty slow but it hits a point. And it becomes one of the most exciting and best anime of all time.

Yea I felt the same way after Kamina past, but the rest of the show is so damn good and had me literally cheering.

Many ppl would say it gets better after that, but imo, it doesn’t... it only gets more cartoon-like and goofy, which imo isn’t a good thing.
