| Art wise current HD art is the best. It is screenwriting/story that leaves to be desired. Can we have a remaster of our 2000s favorites in modern HD art? Imagine how awesome would something like .hack//Sign, DearS or El Cazador de la Bruja look in modern HD art. Instead they do Demon Slayer about 30s of the bygone era. |

Not really art-style from early 00s sucks, it was transitional period from cel to digital and it took almost a decade to make it look good. |

| The old graphics were crooked, but I still like it more than the modern ones with apple faces, and in general Miyazaki and Kon are the best, the faces of their heroes still seem alive. |

| Would like to the know why the 90s are always popular? Honestly if you like predigital animation I think the 70s and 80s had better character designs outside of some exceptions idk maybe that is just me. Rose of Versailes, Future Boy Conan, Aim for the Ace, City Hunter, MSG Zeta, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, OG Dragon Ball, Space Cobra etc lots of great character designs in those decades. Anyway of course you miss older styles but I am pretty happy with modern character designs. I mean again I am nostalgic for art styles found in the 2000s (the anime I grew up with) but artistically I think modern stuff (post 2010) largely is better drawn/designed. |
