| I loved this episode. I found it so stupid and hilarious at the same time, like I just couldn't believe I'd find such humor in a damn flipbook sketch, but here we are. All the more impressive it was done in one take. I can see people shitting on this episode as well saying it's a prime example of the anime having no budget to do anything creative so they resort to live-action stuff. But I don't think those people realize just how long this whole sequence would've taken to do. All the individual pages as well as ensuring it was done in one take. Can't imagine they would have nailed it first try, but I'd be impressed if they did. For a show known for it's abstract and surreal humor, this was definitely a creative high-point for the series. |

| That was fucking amazing, holy shit. Gotta be one of the best episodes I've seen in a great while. The notebook scene from the first season has stuck out in my mind as one of the greatest displays of creativity I've seen in a TV show, and this segment took it from being an impressive visual arts display to an outright performance with how it managed to engage me. My moment of realisation at the end of the episode that this bit comprised the entirety of it was completely euphoric. The entire thing flew by for me. Really didn't feel like a moment was wasted with what it was trying to accomplish. Blown away. I wish I had the capacity to be sarcastic or ironic about this, but I'm dead set in my unwavering appreciation for it. |

| The best episode of this season so far wow. They sure did everything on time and super fast. It wasn't just one notebook, and images being divided in pieces like a manga wow, everything was so well executed, I loved it!! |
