| Every new episode is better than the last one. This is absolutely incredible, I could not be happier about the adaptation we are getting (manga reader aswell). Anime onlys, prepare yourselves because this will only get better and better. |

| As a manga reader. I still prefer the manga. However I view both of these as different medias. Both of them are good for different reasons, the anime though is incredible too. Episode 4 was just amazing to see. The leech devil fight was one of the best fights I’ve seen. I love how messy the animation went toward the end to mimic Denji’s fighting style, and Kikunosuke Toya’s voice acting with the animalistic panting was phenomenal. That is one thing I love about the manga is that it’s sketchiness get more sketchy during high octane fights or it mimics Denji’s mental state as well in some moments. I love how they did that here in their own way. Also the animation is incredible too with very fluid character movements that sometimes makes me fell that I am watching 3D, not 2D MAPPA have really outdone themselves, if this is the level of effort and animation we are getting, I don’t mind the 12 episodes for the first season. |
