I spent Mid-Autumn Festival dodging an invite from my family and making new friends with my neighbors. They are cool and I look forward to a good friendship with them. |

They're surprisingly easy to make especially if you have a mold. My Mandarin teacher taught me in high school. |

| I'm from another cultural sphere where autumn doesn't begin in August, but only in September and where "Thanksgiving" is - if at all - celebrated sometimes in October. But unlike in the USA, pretty much no one celebrates this over here. There is also no Moon Festival, only children going outside with laterns on St. Martin's Day and in more modern history: on Halloween. Oh and there are wine festivals, but since I don't drink wine or alcohol in general, I'm not interested. |
