Steins:Gate 0 shows what happened to Mad Scientist, who sent a message to himself after first failed attempt to save Kurisu, so it kinda is.

I don't think it's predictable, it's very well made, but I also realized the thing you said in the spoiler before it was revealed. I guess it was obvious.

In Steins;Gate 0, some things are predictable, others are not.

Leskinen being the bad guy was predictable miles away so nobody should be surprised about this and it was quite the shitty reveal too, it was extremely bad and retarded, it was nothing compared to Mr. Braun or that crazy son of a bitch Dr. Nakabachi in the OG Steins;Gate, those ones aren't predictable at all and I bet that it took 99% of us by surprise, the majority didn't saw it coming, that's good storytelling right there, not the shit show I saw in Steins;Gate 0.

I wouldn't consider the entirety of Steins;Gate 0 predictable. Some of the twists? Maybe. All of them? NO. Same is the case with OG Steins;Gate. Some of it was predictable, some stuff you figure out before the characters do and some stuff blows your mind.

SG0 isn’t a great show so it is possible that you have found some problems.

since you have an objective Point of view, you can see what’s wrong, even if you like the show.

I gotta agree regarding the villain reveal. They were obvious from the start. I think it would have been better to build them up as complex people with personal motivations to make them sympathetic villains rather than evil masterminds to be revealed. Cos that wasn't gonna be a twist for pretty much anyone.

Sharing their lives and views with Okabe making us like them as characters. So that instead of trying to surprise us, it would make us sad that eventually we're gonna get to a point where we'll have to oppose them.

Tbh the twist villain should have been Yuki. Turns out she is a spy from one of the organizations. Falling for Daru and changing sides would have been more interesting for her character.
