Steins Gate was not a romance series to begin with? Its been many years since watching but It may have had a Subplot - which many series have without having Romance as a key genre.

On that note many series have also have horror elements despite not actually being labelled as "horror." I haven't read HxH so I'm not sure on that one, Its not stated anywhere outside of MU database.
