By the emperor's decree, Jinxuan must create a dish that has never been seen before. It must be completed within three days and have the taste of "home" in order for her to be fully pardoned of her act of treason.

Jinxuan dreams of her life six years into the future. She and Chunyu are married and parents to a boy and two girls, and Chunyu is still just as appreciative of Jinxuan's cooking - too damn cute. This dream serves as the inspiration behind her dish and as she shares its details with the emperor, she refers to Chunyu as her "loved one" (not me screaming inside). Of course our girl passes the emperor's challenge and is thus fully pardoned.

The ending scene of Jing in visible pain and crying broke my heart though.
