| Yeah nothing wrong with that. Gigguk is a youtuber/content creator + he lives in Japan so its reasonable as well for him to learn it, not just so he could understand anime better. If I live in another country I would put effort in learning the language in less than a year. And I would love to learn japanese but theres not much reason for me apart from anime, theres other languages I'm more interested to learn. |

| If you're just starting out with the language then the Monogatari Series is probably not the best anime to immerse with first. It might end up like how Edward from FMA saw the truth: https://youtu.be/bvpJjbphJWQ?t=133 JLPT level wise, the light novels the series is adapted from are on a different scale (N2 maybe even N1). They talk fast, there's a lot of word play, seconds of text popping up, etc. The translators who did the subs did pretty good. So you can still enjoy the series. Japanese is fun especially if you like anime and manga. Try to take small steps for now. 頑張ってね！応援する! \ O / |
