| I use to watch some shows in 1.25x speed but nowadays I don't. Only time I skip shows is during moments that I find cringey or them stuffing up stupidly as I don't like that stuff but they never last for too long. |

| I only watch at x1 speed. Though, I can see how others would enjoy anime at faster speeds though (it matches their comfortable brain processing speed, story > everything, etc.). I remember talking to a friend about people watching anime at faster speeds, and he just said "I never thought about that. Good idea" :P |

| ive watchd some with 4x speed lol. very few, but when im not that interested in it / know its not gonna get anywhere (thats not absolute of course, things can go really well in some parts but you sometimes just have that feeling and its usually right lmao), id still want to know how it goes but just dont have enough interest to spend 20 minutes on it |

| I actually like slow-paced shows, so I would never do that. For me, half the enjoyment in something amazing is the buildup leading up to it, so speeding up anime would defeat the purpose entirely. |

| I agree with all arguments against increasing the speed. It lessens an anime's impact and experience. However, I used 2* speed for a show or two my friend recommended that I didn't especially care to watch or read their summaries. |

| I make it go a little faster but only when I need to, like when the story and characters aren't interesting. Sometimes I do it when shows use 3D animations and the fps goes lower than 30 (or what I think is 30); when the 3D stuff looks very jittery. |

| why would i? my favorite anime saiki k already feels like its sped up 2x anyways. Also if i choose to watch an anime, i will watch it. the only time i got close to speeding something up was when i skipped an MHA episode from season 4 because it almost contributed nothing |
