She is an American agent. So how do we know this? The woman in the motor helmet who attacked the laboratory was injured in the wrist. When we saw Yuki at the cafe, she had a bandage on her wrist (left hand). One of the people who showed up to steal the computer was shot in the hand. Later we saw her bandaged from the same place (left hand again). Evasive answers, too. She couldn't answer some questions properly.

Sooo she is an American agent who is trying to steal Kurisu's computer. So why cant we learn more about her? In the future, she marries Itaru (daru) and has a child (suzuha), but they obviously dont know her secret again. I think this is one of the biggest shortcomings or overlooked mistakes of season 2.

What are your thoughts?

In the anime its just a red herring, in the visual novel they explain more and you are right, Kaptaniderya61 (i never post so idk how to do replies and stuff)

There’s just multiple people that it can be due to timeline switching. Someone above already said that, and yes this is a shortcoming of season 2 but only because it’s not explained or introduced well.

So that heartwarming moment where daru and yuki go on a date and yuki takes pictures with suzuha are all with the fake Yuki? That sucks. Someone said there are constant timeline changes, so there are 3 motorcycle helmet girls. I hope this scene was from the timeline where yuki was the real one. :(

I know I'm a little late to the party but the fake Yuki is only a thing in the vega and Altair route (mayuri) ending. It is Kagari Shiina who gets plastic surgery. So Yuki is Yuki in all but one time line. Since the anime doesn't really specify what timelines he enters it is impossible to know wether he ever was in a timeline where this occurred.

Its supposed to be red herring. You know this if you read the vn which is much better than the anime.

This is a thing which is explained only in the vn (which is much better than the sg 0 anime). To avoid spoilers I'll just say she's definitely not Yuki.

Trust me I did, but their are multiple people that are under that helmet. Is that wrong? I’m still confused on this part because like I said it’s not introduced well.

There are 2 and a half. 1 is the American. The others look different but are the same person hence the half.

Oh, so I wasn't the only person who noticed that.

I think that if they weren't going to flesh the matter out, it would've been better just to gloss over it and not make that wrist bandage scene with evasive answers to then never mention it again.

Especially considering that Yuki is shown multiple times after that as a normal friend, and in the future, part of the rebels group.

That's one of the issues I had with Steins;Gate 0, the other issues are with Okabe going to the future in the first couple of episodes and then receiving a phone call and waking up which made absolutely no fucking sense and was never addressed, the other one is with Fubuki having some sort of "Reading Steiner", the anime never addressed it either. These type of things ruins an anime for me, if they weren't going to do anything with those plots then they should have never brought it up in the first place.

Those are one of the things I disliked about Steins;Gate 0 but I have plenty of other issues with it as well and will require a wall of text to explain those issues.
