| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Well, we've finally reached the end. I feel like there were a lot of loose ends that anyone reading all the way through would notice. Especially the bits of the Babel Brigade that were left alive. But the big thing I wonder, is if Asuka has the power to resurrect the dead, does that mean she will be able to bring Mia back? Is anyone ever truly dead in a world where Asuka exists and can resurrect them, even unwittingly? |
| Eh I feel like Asuka's resurrection power came out of nowhere, just like her sudden canon ship with Kurumi. We never saw her being romantically interested in anyone but it was like "welp you confessed to me so I might as well roll with it, lolz". It was not a bad ride but generally it was kinda all over the place. I wonder if it got axed axed actually. |
| Some of the loose ends are there because the story was always about never-ending conflict. There is no true end to the girls' battles. You might be displeased with some parts of the ending but the series had a genuine and planned conclusion. |

| getting Sayako alive again sure remove some of Asuka PTSD. Feels like a rushed ending, but still good. sad that Whiplash did not have a romantic partner at the end.. |
