Japan and Sunborn Network confirms a new anime series for Girls Frontline is in the works which will be animated by Asahi Productions. The new anime series is set to release in 2021. Not sure exactly for how many episodes this will go for, though I am expecting this to be an actual adaptation of the mobile game. The studio isn't exactly reputable, either. But anyways, quite hyped. |

| That's surprising but also really good news. I wonder how far into the story they will adapt if they even begin at the very start. Would be really funny if they decided to use the chinese voice actors like they had when the first couple of shorts came out (was the also the case with the later ones?). Hilarious and very much caught me off- guard the first time I heard that. |
