| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The Lying Robot. Or the Boy Who Cried Wolf, if the villagers murdered the boy for lying! There's really not much more to this than that, didn't even care enough to give the lying robot or the doctor who created him a name, that's pretty weak. I mean it was fine, I like that there's a more emotional logic to The Lying Robot's existence and I think the ending with Astro lying was sweet, and I like that the Lying Robot flied with his hair propeller but mostly it was just fine. |

| So basically this is the Boy Who Cried Wolf, but with Robots. Pretty okay chapter, but there's not much going on. Anyway I really liked the Astro Boy's history that was at the end of the volume. My knowledge about the manga's beginning was pretty shallow so it was interesting to learn more about it. |
