| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The Secret of the Egyptian Conspirators. This was a fund read, I always liked when Dr. Tenma gets involved, and his hat disguise is great. Wonder if the Red Brigade story he mentioned is one we'll see, or at least one that's was actually written. Cleopatra was a good character, and he murder-suicide with Dr. Baribari really took me off guard, but I like how it tied into the Egyptian theme. Also really liked the page where all the panels featured hieroglyphics with the main characters mixed in there. Also the history lesson on Astro's design was interesting. While I certainly noticed Astro fluctuated in height every now and again, I can't say it's really ever made much of a difference on my feelings towards him. |

| Tezuka's character talking about all the different version of Astro in the beginning was really interesting. Personally I like all of his different designs and don't have one that I prefer. The chapter itself was good, although not amazing as some other ones. It was pretty obvious that the hat guy was in fact Dr. Tenma. Also I wonder how Cleopatra managed to kill herself and Dr. Baribari? Robots aren't supposed to be able to kill humans. |
