Code Geass is the prime example. (Yes, I do think Geass's ending was bad)

I thought NARUTO had a booty ending. Everything after the Five Kage Summit didn't happen tbh. But a lot of people seemed to like it.

Oreimo entered the chat😂😂😂
The male proganist in Oreimo is the worst male mc of all time after Makoto Ito.
And Kirino is still the most annoying and worst Imotou of the anime world.

ending was not bad it was supposed to be Hachiman and yukino for the start other character were just fuelling their relationship and if you think ending was bad then you didn't understand oregairu i think

I fully agree with Playay on School Days.

I guess for me, first thing that comes to mind is ERASED. Ending was awful but is still considered a good anime according to MAL database (with 8,4 user score no less).
Kal'tsit: Is that... really worth it? Amiya...

Amiya: Even if no one understands me... I'll keep going on the path I choose.
Maybe it will incinerate me to dust... But if I don't do it, no one can.

Nah I understood oregairu pretty well and I know how they should've ended up, but the last season was about a lame prom party that nobody cares about and Hachiman was slowly turning from a unique character to a generic boring mc... Not to mention Yukinos mother who was there just for the sake of having a villain figure or whatever... it was terrible

Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans
I think people still mostly receive it as a very good gundam anime

My personal case is kuzu no honkai and 5cm/s
code geass is well.. I don't think the ending is a bad one, a perfect one instead

So sad it was above 9,10 back then when it was airing, just last 3-4 episodes made it got downrated so hard.

Probably Boku dake ga Inai Machi. Despite of the lackluster ending, the show is loved by a lot of people.

Even after the end of the third season, Hachiman is nowhere near being a proper "normie". Even now, he believes in some of his old pessimistic beliefs. But it is certainly true that he has changed, which is easily apparent in the third season, especially in the later episodes. His development as a human being was basically the entire point of Oregairu. That's what I think, at least. And no, Oregairu doesn't imply that being "normie" is the right answer. You have to find your right answer yourself.

Apparently he said the adaption was bad itself and I couldn't agree more. Still the original series I love.

I don't see it bad. it is obvious that people must go on with their own life. But the capture of the main villain was so bitter.

Well in my point of observation, the animation has cut most of the characters' monologues and points of view. If you are a fan then the light novel will no doubt satisfy you even more. Hope you enjoy it. The anime is just a promotion in my eyes.

Ok now that sounds like a mind-blowingly good ending, I also wanna know which anime you're talking about.

Prison school the manga's ending was pretty much a middle finger to the entire audience but everything before the school festival is still top tier ecchi comedy.

Oregairu s3 is bloody gross. Anyone that has tried to speak out on that so far has been bombarded by the blind fans. It's infuriating how people are unable to see how bad s3 is. This is coming from someone who fanboyed over s1 and 2 for 5 years.

Angel Beats. While I don't think its a very good show to begin with, people do and they also do like the ending which I felt was completely ridiculous. The situation with Tenshi and the heart was sprung out of nowhere in last 5 minutes purely for "emotion". Ok show with bad ending.

Toradora. Same with Angel Beats. I did not enjoy toradora at all and the final arc only amplified it. The characters become incredibly insufferable and make stupid decisions with no motivation and shit is just everywhere. But hey they re-united woo amirite?

Clannad: After Story's ending was actually pretty disappointing when looked at a thematic point of view since it actually went against the core themes of family & sacrifice the show had, but despite that, me and many other fans absolutely love it, since prior to the last few ending episodes it gave us an incredible emotional rollercoaster, making us relate to the characters, their dynamics/relationships, daily life struggles & emotions in such a way that very few other anime managed to do. The levels of greatness that Clannad: AS manages to achieve prior to the lacklustre ending is just too hard to forget.

"There's no such thing as a painless lesson, they just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary. You can't gain anything without losing something first. Although if you can endure that pain and walk away from it, you'll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah... a heart made full-metal."

Good or bad are subjective.
-I consider Steins:Gate and Code Geass have cheap conclusion/ending but I know that many people adore them.
-IMO, Oregairu and Erased didn't have bad ending/conclusion, but they have bad climax/last season.
-Clannad AS has both great climax and conlusion of course.
