Gogeta vs Broly in Dragon Ball: Broly movie, although I had problems to chose whether this one or Goku, Frieza and Android 17 vs Jiren one, but I decided that the one with Gogeta and Broly was the most epic.

Yes, this is in my top 3 (no order of preference). Broly's big transformation alone was hype (the visuals were … when everyone went through ice tunnels... broke space-time, etc.). Even Sword of the Stranger's insane cinematography can't match these colours and hype.

Super episode 129 with Goku UI is also historic. A lot of people here (who probably don't follow Dragon Ball) have no idea how historic that episode was. Goku's arms were glitching/vibrating (movement was so fast)... and when he made a mockery... And Jiren was a top-tier fighter, which made this even more impactful. All the gods standing. There was just too much hype in one episode. The music. Everything.

Amuro vs Char in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack was pretty solid. Spike vs Edward's dad in Bebop has some of my favorite cuts of that whole series. Or how about the Major vs the Spider Tank from Ghost in the Shell? Or Noa vs the Type Zero from Patlabor: the Movie?

For something more recent, maybe consider Akito vs Shun in Code Geass: Akito the Exiled; a healthy mix of mecha and swordfighting action.

That said, I don't even think Sword of the Stranger holds up to any of the uncomfortably brutal, harrowing, and somehow beautiful action scenes in Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal.

And for those of you who absolutely need a fight scene where nobody can just shut the hell up, then Kiritsugu vs Kirei or Saber vs Lancer in Fate/Zero are pretty high up there.

3- Crusaders vs Dio
4- Obito vs Kakashi (context was trash but the choreography was FIRE)
5- L vs Light Yagami (psychological fight)
6- Goku vs Vegeta (first one iconic fight)
7- Kagami vs Aomine
8- Rock Lee vs Gaara (still for me the best fight of naruto)
9- Gon vs Pitou (it was rape)
10- Ichigo vs Ulquiorra
