In the game they sort of come from the cubes more or less; in the anime they are magically created humanoids to match the seirens, that equip their ships as some kind of transfigured rigging, and the cubes are involved in this process.

In short, they're more like magical girls than anything. Contrary to Kancolle where normal ships don't really exist, because the girls are all the real ships, and they come to exist due to some crazy ontological life cycle of rebirth.

This isn't true, stop peddling this nonsense. Don't make me spank you again, lol.

The Azur Lane ship girls are exactly like the Kancolle ones in that they are reincarnations of their WWII counterparts.

What i said is true and most people with a brain can see it. Stop chasing me down to start fights. Even if they are somewhat less magical-girl-like in the game, they are 100% magical girl in the anime, they check all the boxes and fill the tropes, transformations and all. You'd be crazy and blind to not realize this.

Stop peddling your nonsense that they are identical when they clearly are not.

They are not human, they are manifestations of Ships from the Wisdom Cubes.

However in the game, they come with portable weaponry at all time as the humanoid and guns are summoned as one. (there is no physical ship)

But in the anime, which follows more toward PS4 than Mobile, they have to reconstruct a Physical Ship that's build by humans and other ships that's linked to them in order to get the portable weaponry.

The Wisdom Cubes were invented by Humans, but they were first obtained from the Sirens and deconstructed to be usable by Humans.

I'm not "chasing you down." It's only natural that when I prove you wrong, I expect you to learn from your mistakes and change your thinking, not repeat the same misinformation and try to make other people as wrong as you are. As for whether you're going to consider them magical girls, I don't really have a problem with that other than it's weird (and we're talking anime-only, of course, now that you've shifted the goalposts). My issue is when you try to claim that they are somehow different concepts than Kancolle ship girls, which they are not. Both Azur Lane and Kancolle characters are anthropomorphized representations of their WWII warship selves.

Stop peddling your nonsense that they are identical when they clearly are not.

Still trying to copy my sentence structure, I see. I've rubbed off on you quite a lot, you must really look up to me if I'm imprinting on you this hard.

There you go guys

Answered in Episode 5

When Enterprise and Belfast are talking.

Enterprise: "even tho we're ships, all this talk about maid and queens, it's as if we're..."

Belfest: "As if we're imitating humans"

confirmation that they're Ships, and not Humans. (IE: the post I wrote above is correct for the anime, even tho I originally wrote it based off the game)
