| Random friend requests are an absolute ok to me. However, what comes next is the attitude. If I accepted someone and turns out to be someone bad, I'd think about it then, haha. But, if it was someone friendly, then we could be friends (wait what). If that person just requested then nothing else happens, well... nothing else happens then. |

| I do accept them. I like talking to others and having friends who share a common interest. But after reading this thread, I definitely feel a little bad for accepting any friend request. I definitely understand when people say they don't accept random friend requests because it is like devaluing the word "friend". Also, damn! 6000 friends! How many of the 6000 do they interact with? |
| Overthinking would stop if we call it what it is, super plainly, a bookmark. A silent FR to me usually means "I prob want to find recs/inspo on this person." Nothing wrong with that, tho I'm more inclined to accept when there's something interesting for me on their profile/lists whether it's activity or a title. Actually the nicest conversations I've had with anyone here don't get labeled under a fr until... way later lol? It just happens. |
